 Business Catalyst caters to small businesses with big ideas. It is founded by Robert Davis, who is a software architect, fluent in over a dozen programming languages. He prefers to work with entrepreneurs to setup new business ventures or expand the capabilities of existing services. During high school Robert developed a reliability testing system (software and hardware) for InGaAs lasers with guidance from post-doctorates in Arizona State's Electrical Engineering department. He went on to earn a BSE and MS from Arizona State University in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in control systems. In 2001 he presented a paper based on his thesis at the International Conferences on Info-tech and Info-net in Beijing. Then he joined Intel where he worked in a variety of positions over an eight year period including project management, data mining research, process engineering, product development engineering, process control automation, and defect metrology. While at Intel he published two more technical papers, one presented at the 2004 Design Test Technology Conference in Oregon and the other at the 2005 Advanced Process Control Summit in Arizona. In 2008 he started his own software development company in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, where he lives with his wife and five children. Contact: email
